Why we think Home Information Packs are a good thing.

The long awaited phased introduction of Home Information Pack's (HIP's) finally began on August 1st 2007. Whilst HIP's have received a generally negative press, we believe this overhaul of the buying and selling process is long overdue and very welcome. By providing all the information about a property in advance, a buyer can now make a more informed decision about a property before making an offer. Once a sale is agreed, the process itself takes a lot less time as the conveyancer is able to receive all the necessary documentation quicker. This reduces the number of fall throughs and gets you moving to your new home faster than before.
